This week one of our vocabulary words is "cloning." This is Dolly. She was the first animal ever cloned. How do you feel about cloning? Do you feel that it should be legal? Do you feel that it is not a good idea to clone animals? Write a paragraph (at least 5 sentences with good capitalization, spelling, and punctuation) to tell me your opinion of the cloning issue. It is okay to share your thoughts because even scientists are still arguing this one.

I don't think it is real smart.
I think its not a good idea because if something went wrong it could hurt the animals. I think it shouldn't be illegal, but I don't like tha fact that scientist are using animals. They should use like ants or rats, something we don't really need. We need our animals for food and livestock.

Well,I think it is smart and I fell it is okay to do.Yes,I think it should be legal,becuse it is a break through in heath and in science.Yes,becuse it does no harm to the oraginal animal or to the cloned animal.I think maybe we should use it on some of the less important animals,but every animal is important to the well being of human beings,also it does no harm to the animal to the point in which the animal does not even fell the pain.

I think cloning shoulde be allowed because that would be so cool to have another person that looks just like you. It would also be cool because you can have as many of you as you want. The only reason I dont like cloning is that they use harmless animals for no reason. I would like someone to clone me whane I die. That would be awsome!

I think it's its ok to clone animals. Because if u clone them the more would have. Like you can clone the animals that are going extint to make more of them

I think that it should be legal for animals that we dont need,like if its a fish i dont care about fish so i dont care if you clone it,but if it was like a dog or a horse then i wouldnt clone it because i like dogs and horses

I think that it is a good idea that cloning is illigal.
If it was legal only scientists should be able to do it. If the wrong person got the machine they could clone people and make them do bad things. The clones look exactly like the person's DNA they used and if they did something bad the police may think it was the other person. I think it's a good thing that cloning is illigal.

Cloning people would be terable. Criminals could clone themselves and there would be many more criminals and we don't need that to happen.

I think that cloning shoudln't be leagal beacause we need to have a bigger population.They are talkin about a 700,000,000 bail out beacause not enough people are spending money well,if we clone people we would have more people to spend more money.It would depend on what they are cloning i don't like the fact about how they are cloning animals. If we can clone animals why can't we clone people that kind of stuff just doesn't make since to me. If we needed another person to take a person's place that was in the army then we could use they're clone just in case something happend to the other one .

I think cloning animals should be legal so they can bring back endangered animals. Like Muck I agree people should not be cloned. It would probly bring back evil people.The endangered animals should be cloned so they can be beautiful and repopulate the states.That is what I think of cloning.
